To further strengthen the leading role of scientific and technological innovation, accelerate the development of new productive forces, and continuously empower the high-quality development of the lighting industry, the 2nd China Lighting Science and Technology Conference and the Award Ceremony of the 19th China Illuminating Engineering Award, hosted by the China Illuminating Engineering Society and themed "Innovation-Leading, Quality-Mapping the Blueprint", was grandly held in Nanchang, Jiangxi from November 8 to 10, 2024.

The lighting industry has entered a new stage of high-quality development. Adhering to the drive of scientific and technological innovation, this conference aims to enhance the endogenous driving force for innovation-driven development, strengthen the intellectualization, low-carbonization and ecologicalization of lighting technologies, promote industrial upgrading and transformation, stimulate new growth drivers, and improve core competitiveness.

At the simultaneously held award ceremony of the 19th China Illuminating Engineering Award, our company’s customized smart landscape garden lights successfully won the Second Prize of the award, thanks to their outstanding performance in the cultural tourism lighting project of the Dinghai Wushan Ecological Tourism Belt in Zhoushan, Zhejiang.

For the cultural tourism lighting project of the Dinghai Wushan Ecological Tourism Belt in Zhoushan, Zhejiang, our company collaborated closely with all relevant parties and gained a profound understanding of the project’s core objectives. We integrated innovative technologies into multiple aspects including design aesthetics, light distribution and smart functions, helping build an urban green corridor that integrates cultural tourism, ecology, slow-moving travel and smart applications.

The design aesthetics of the lamps are closely linked to Zhoushan’s local culture, fully embodying the region’s historical heritage and development philosophy. This not only strengthens the dissemination of local cultural symbols, but also contributes to the development of Zhoushan’s cultural and tourism industry.


Smart Light Pole


Stretching approximately 21 kilometers in total, the Dinghai Wushan Ecological Green Corridor is equipped with 588 smart light poles. These poles are integrated with a range of smart terminals, including intelligent lighting, video surveillance, one-touch emergency alarms, patrol check-in, wireless charging, environmental monitoring, and network audio speakers. Coupled with our independently developed Star Core 3.1 Smart Light Pole Management Platform, the system enables smart and digital management of the corridor, improving operational efficiency while reducing management costs.

The Star Core 3.1 Smart Light Pole Management Platform features four core technical strengths summarized as "versatile, efficient, high-performance, and cost-effective". It supports the access of massive devices, enables rapid device deployment, realizes real-time data updates, cuts down construction costs, enhances operation and maintenance efficiency, and thus contributes to the development of smart cities.

To build an eco-friendly green corridor, reduce energy consumption, cut down operation and management costs, and enhance residents’ travel experience, the lamps are equipped with our independently developed intelligent single-lamp controllers. These controllers adjust lighting strategies based on factors such as different time periods and pedestrian flow, achieving on-demand lighting.
