Sanxing Lighting Wins Innovation Technology Award at the 7th Jiangsu Lighting Awards
To actively respond to the spirit of the national circular On Giving Full Play to the Role of Industry Associations and Chambers of Commerce to Make Positive Contributions to Stabilizing the National Economic Landscape, accelerate the process of intelligent transformation and digital upgrading in the lighting industry, comprehensively drive the digital transformation and upgrading of the lighting sector, strive to build a new "Digital Lighting Network" industrial ecosystem, continuously promote intelligent manufacturing among lighting enterprises, and ultimately achieve the high-quality development of the lighting industry.
On August 28, 2024, the 2024 Annual Conference of Jiangsu Lighting Electrical Appliance Association, together with the awarding ceremony of the 7th Jiangsu Lighting Awards, was grandly held in Nanjing. Hosted by Jiangsu Lighting Electrical Appliance Association, the event was themed "Building New Engines and Forging New Prospects".
As an integrated solution provider for urban smart lighting, our company engaged in in-depth exchanges and brainstorming sessions with attending leaders from relevant government departments and associations, industry experts, as well as enterprise representatives, while showcasing our latest product innovations in smart light poles, photovoltaic lighting, landscape lighting, and software platforms.
At the 7th Jiangsu Lighting Awards ceremony held concurrently, our company’s LED glass module successfully won the Innovation Technology Grand Prize for its outstanding performance in the green, energy-efficient and intelligent renovation project of street lamps in Baotou, Inner Mongolia.
In the Baotou project, our company’s LED glass modules MPL100 and MPL200 achieved the goal of energy conservation and emission reduction while ensuring no change in the illumination of existing street lamps and meeting urban lighting needs.
Specifically, we replaced the high-pressure sodium light sources of the original street lamps with these high-brightness, high-color-rendering-index and low-power-consumption LED glass modules. Meanwhile, we added an intelligent control module with adjustable power, which reduced the rated power of the street lamps, improved their luminous efficiency, further lowered power consumption, and saved operational costs.
Ultimately, these upgrades have made the city’s street lighting brighter, more comfortable and more energy-efficient.
This project is expected to save approximately 1 million yuan in electricity costs annually and reduce carbon emissions by around 2,088 tons. By 2025, the energy-saving rate of Baotou's urban lighting facilities will exceed 50%, leading to further reductions in operation and maintenance costs, electricity expenses, and carbon emissions.
