Well-Deserved Honors, Original Strength | Sanxing Lighting Claims Red Dot and iF Design Awards Again
Recently, the much-anticipated 2024 award-winning lists for the German Red Dot Design Award and iF Design Award were announced globally. Our integrated solar light pole street lamp Xinghe and smart street lamp Tianqi have once again clinched both the German Red Dot Design Award and iF Design Award, thanks to their outstanding aesthetic design and product performance.
The German Red Dot Design Award and the German iF Design Award, together with the American IDEA Award, are known as the world’s top three design awards. Recognized globally as the most authoritative design competition awards, they are dubbed the "Oscars of International Industrial Design", standing as the largest and most influential design competitions among the world’s renowned ones and representing cutting-edge design concepts on a global scale.
Xinghe, the integrated solar light pole street lamp, adopts a modern and minimalist design approach for its exterior that embodies contemporary aesthetic ideals and aligns with the current development needs of cities. In terms of structural design, the solar panel is embedded in the light pole, breaking the constraints of the traditional panel shape and creating a seamless integration of the entire solar luminaire.
Meanwhile, the solar panel-integrated light pole can be adjusted for angle according to sunlight direction, maximizing solar energy conversion and achieving high utilization efficiency of clean energy.
The solar panel of Xinghe features monocrystalline silicon cells, which deliver a higher photoelectric conversion efficiency than polycrystalline silicon cells, retain light energy to the maximum extent, and have a 20-year service life, boasting an outstanding cost performance ratio. For instance, solar cells on space stations also adopt monocrystalline silicon materials. In addition, the solar panel is encapsulated with tempered glass and EVA materials, which are resistant to dust accumulation and offer high light transmittance, providing a higher-level guarantee for photoelectric conversion efficiency.
Lithium batteries are another key performance benchmark for solar luminaires. The lithium battery of Xinghe excels in charge-discharge efficiency and stability, demonstrating superior performance in low-temperature discharge capacity, charging efficiency and energy density, with a service life of up to 8 years. It delivers more sufficient energy storage capacity under the same sunlight conditions. When paired with Samsung Lighting’s single-lamp controller, it can ensure the normal operation of the luminaire for a certain period even in no-sunlight conditions such as rainy and cloudy weather.
Tianqi, the smart street lamp, adopts a modern and minimalist design approach. Its highly dynamic streamlined lamp head pioneers a new school of contemporary aesthetics, and paired with integrated night ambient lighting, it further accentuates the unique charm of modern cities. Meanwhile, its light source features our company’s national patent-winning double-reflector module, which eliminates discomfort caused by direct light exposure to the eyes and enhances residents’ travel experience as well as road safety. In addition, its high-efficiency LED light source is more energy-efficient, boasts a longer service life and lower maintenance costs compared with traditional sodium lamps — creating a green and healthy urban light environment and supporting the nation’s "Dual Carbon" goals.
This luminaire can be equipped with a variety of municipal equipment sensing terminals including 5G micro base stations, environmental monitoring devices, video surveillance systems, display screens and one-touch alarm systems. It enables the smart application of urban intelligence across multiple scenarios such as smart transportation, smart culture and tourism, and smart urban management, serving as a natural carrier for the construction of smart cities.
