Rural Revitalization Lighting Project | Zouwei Road, Zouping Shandong
Traffic safety is closely associated with every resident. Due to various historical factors, traffic accidents frequently occur on roads in urban-rural fringe areas, suburban regions, as well as districts, counties and villages with lower administrative levels.
A host of hidden risks include mixed traffic of pedestrians and vehicles, heavy truck flow, highways running through residential zones, insufficient signalized intersections, pedestrian overpasses and underground passages, and weak public safety awareness. In particular, the lack of road lighting facilities or insufficient brightness at night poses severe safety hazards to local residents and hinders the high-quality development and revitalization of rural economies.
Zouwei Road in Zouping, Shandong, is a key county-level urban-rural highway in Zouping. It runs through and connects four towns and sub-districts, including Daixi, Handian, Mingji and Weiqiao. Serving as the essential thoroughfare linking Taizi Town and Matou Town with downtown Zouping, it is a typical urban-rural arterial road. It acts not only as a vital corridor connecting urban and rural areas, but also as a critical infrastructure supporting rural economic development and cultural progress.
Numerous large industrial and mining enterprises as well as manufacturing factories are distributed along Zouwei Road, with densely concentrated residential communities and houses alongside the route. The road features heavy freight vehicle traffic and mixed flow of pedestrians, electric vehicles, motorcycles, passenger cars and large trucks. The existing nighttime lighting fails to fully meet the daily needs of local residents and operational demands of surrounding enterprises. These issues result in prominent pain points: severe traffic safety hazards, frequent traffic congestion, and obstacles restricting the sustainable economic development and cultural construction of the new countryside.
In compliance with the national strategic goals of carbon peaking, carbon neutrality and smart city development, Zouwei Road currently faces core challenges: meeting road lighting demands effectively, improving road safety levels, realizing low-carbon and energy-saving operation, and alleviating traffic congestion.
In accordance with the on-site conditions of the project, Sanxing Lighting has equipped Zouwei Road with the smart landscape street light — Wifi Street Light. In terms of road lighting performance, the lamp head adopts a high-efficiency LED light source, combined with the high-luminance and low-glare grille module independently developed by Sanxing Lighting. The powerful combination delivers an outstanding effect that achieves 1+1>2.
The smart landscape street light Wifi Street Light is equipped with a high-definition LED display. It features an excellent heat dissipation performance to adapt to complex weather, temperature and humidity conditions. Whether under direct sunlight in the daytime or low-light environments at night, the display delivers clear and high-quality images with stable visibility at all times.
The display screen can broadcast real-time traffic information, allowing pedestrians and drivers to adjust their routes in a timely manner and avoid traffic congestion.
Road management departments can fully utilize the screens to divert traffic in real time and realize scientific traffic guidance.
In line with development needs, the displays can also deliver real-time news, policy promotion, urban publicity and commercial advertisements, boosting rural cultural development and economic growth.
