1. Project Overview & Background
Dongshan Park, located in Zhangqiu District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, is a large-scale comprehensive urban ecological park integrating wetland landscape and mountain scenery. Covering a total area of 748,765 square meters (1,123 acres), the park stretches from Jingshi East Road in the south to Jinruyi Garden in the north, and from Dongshan Community in the east to Shuangshan Street in the west, with superior geographical location and rich natural ecological resources.
Since Zhangqiu was upgraded from a city to a district at the end of 2016, the local government has vigorously promoted urban ecological renewal and infrastructure upgrading, committed to building a high-quality ecological new urban area in eastern Jinan with clean environment, harmonious human-land relationship and sustainable ecological cycle. As a core landmark project of urban green space renovation, Dongshan Park completed the overall construction in 2018, and the landscape lighting system upgrading was listed as a key supporting project of the park’s soft environment construction.
Different from traditional single-functional park lighting, the project takes "ecological beauty, intelligent energy saving and humanized service" as the core design concept.
