Introduction to Gaogai Mountain Park Project

Located at the heart of Nantai Island in Cangshan District, Fuzhou, Gaogai Mountain Park covers a total planning area of 228.5 hectares, with a main peak altitude of 202.2 meters. Blessed with layered green hills and mirror-like lake scenery, it is the only urban ecological park featuring classic Song Dynasty garden aesthetics in Fuzhou, serving as a core leisure and sightseeing space for local residents and tourists.

The park renovation was listed among 12 key urban ecological park upgrading projects of Fuzhou, aiming to build a modern urban green space integrating ecology, intelligence and local humanistic features. Before the transformation, the park faced typical urban infrastructure drawbacks: independent poles for monitoring, public broadcasting, billboards and communication facilities were scattered all over the scenic area. Such disorderly layout caused repeated construction, wasted public land resources, damaged the natural mountain landscape and brought high later maintenance costs for management teams.

Sanxing Lighting designed graded collocation schemes of smart garden lights according to different usage zones inside the park, including main entrance squares, core viewing platforms and winding circular footpaths. Full-specification integrated smart poles are installed at key scenic spots, while simplified modular versions are arranged along mountain trails to control overall project investment without sacrificing core intelligent functions. Each smart pole integrates multiple IoT hardware to realize multi-dimensional intelligent management:

  1. Video surveillance linkage with one-touch emergency alarm and public broadcasting system. Once visitors trigger the emergency button, administrators can remotely access real-time monitoring footage of the alarm location instantly. Through the built-in public broadcast module, staff can release voice reminders and on-site guidance rapidly to handle safety emergencies such as crowd congestion and accidental injuries efficiently.

  2. Comprehensive environmental sensing unit collects real-time data of temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed, wind direction and PM2.5 concentration. All environmental indicators are synchronously displayed on LED information release screens around the park, allowing visitors to check outdoor conditions conveniently while providing accurate, continuous environmental data support for municipal environmental protection departments.

  3. Full coverage public wireless WiFi module eliminates network blind spots in mountainous scenic areas. Tourists can connect stable high-speed network to share landscape photos and travel experiences on social platforms anytime, greatly improving the overall travel experience of the ecological park.

All functional modules are connected to a unified cloud intelligent management platform, enabling centralized remote monitoring, parameter adjustment and equipment status inspection for all smart garden lights across the whole park.

Self-Developed LED Street Light Module Eliminates Long-Term Outdoor Lighting Operation Troubles

Stable and durable lighting performance is the basic guarantee of park night operation. All smart courtyard lamps deployed in this project adopt Sanxing self-developed ultra-white tempered glass LED Street Light Module as the core light source component, equipped with two exclusive technical designs to adapt to long-term outdoor complex weather conditions such as rain, fog and dust:

First, the ultra-clear tempered glass panel boasts outstanding anti-fouling performance. Dust, oil stains and bird droppings are hard to adhere to the surface, which maintains high luminous efficiency and stable luminous flux retention rate year after year, avoiding frequent light attenuation caused by surface contamination and reducing manual cleaning frequency.

Second, a professional breathable pressure balancing device is reserved inside the light source cavity. It balances the air pressure difference between the inside and outside of the lamp body automatically when temperature changes sharply, completely eradicating fogging and water condensation inside the cavity. This design protects LED chips and internal drive power supplies from damp corrosion, effectively extending the overall service life of the luminaire and cutting long-term replacement and maintenance expenditure for park managers.

Cultural Customized Lamp Appearance Integrates Fuzhou Regional Local Characteristics

Differing from uniform, monotonous industrial-style smart poles widely seen on the market, Sanxing Lighting combines modern minimalist lamp body modeling with unique Fuzhou regional cultural elements for this project. The golden Chinese character "Fu" representing good fortune is printed on the upper part of each lamp, while jasmine patterns—the city flower of Fuzhou—are decorated on the lower lamp housing. The cultural printing design is anti-corrosion and wear-resistant, which can keep clear patterns under long-term outdoor wind and sun exposure.

After nightfall, soft and uniform light radiates from smart garden lights to cover park plazas, rest platforms and all circular mountain trails. The warm light atmosphere echoes the antique charm of Song-style gardens, creating a safe, comfortable and distinctive night-time sightseeing environment for citizens and tourists.
