Fuzhou Jin’an River Waterfront Landscape Lighting Project: Bionic Outdoor Pole Lights for Historic River Promenade
1. Project Background & Urban Revitalization Goal
Fuzhou, nicknamed Rongcheng, is the capital city of Fujian Province, located on the lower reaches of Min River coastal zone. Jin’an River is the longest and oldest artificial canal in Fuzhou, carrying thousands of years of local cultural heritage.
Since 2000, local authorities have launched multiple rounds of river ecological upgrading. To satisfy citizens’ growing demand for high-quality urban green space and comply with national ecological civilization policies, Fuzhou government launched a comprehensive Jin’an River beautification program covering six major sectors: park renovation, waterfront landscape lighting, building facade upgrading, water quality control, river level regulation and integrated management.
For the landscape lighting sub-project, Sanxing Lighting customized bionic Outdoor Pole Lights (code-named Lily) to match the natural riverside ecology, building a signature "most beautiful waterfront sightseeing belt" for Rongcheng.

The bionic Outdoor Pole Lights take lily flower as creative prototype, featuring smooth, minimalist lines that blend perfectly with riverside flowers, stones and waterscape. Total 500 units were deployed along both sides of Jin’an River walkways with unified specification parameters: 40W total power, 4000K neutral white color temperature, 3.75m installation height.

Imported Pc lampshade: High temperature resistant, anti-aging, with professional anti-glare treatment to avoid visual discomfort for walking pedestrians;
High-pressure die-cast aluminum lamp body: Strong impact resistance, long service life, anti-rust and durable for long-term riverside humid environment;
Outdoor special plastic powder coating on poles: Excellent anti-corrosion performance under coastal damp climate;
Optimized light distribution: Soft uniform light output, no light pollution, forming layered shadow effects on walkway ground after dark.
The integrated natural aesthetic and modern led lighting technology makes Outdoor Pole Lights the core landscape landmark of Jin’an River promenade, creating rich visual layers matching ecological revetments, green plants and waterfront architectures.
