Nanshan Cultural Ecological Park is located in Yuanshan New Town, Zhangzhou High-tech Zone, on the south bank of Jiulong River. It is a brand-new urban functional zone with charming ecological scenery, featuring a picturesque landscape of "green mountains surrounded by clear water, ancient temples embraced by blooming flowers". Adhering to the "Eco Plus" development concept, the park integrates culture, technology, tourism, leisure, residence and commerce to form a multi-functional urban complex.
Nanshan and Danxia Mountain historically served as the southern gateway of Zhangzhou, famous for ancient scenic spots "Sunrise over Danxia" and "Autumn Scenery of Nanshan". After years of urban renewal and ecological restoration, the park became a landmark demonstration project of Zhangzhou’s "Five Lakes & Four Seas" ecological construction initiative.
