Striving for a New Era, Building a Smart Wuxi | Liangxi Ten-Mile Gallery
"A ten-mile gallery shrouded in misty rain, a fairyland on earth that lingers in dreams." The Liangxi River, known as the mother river of Wuxi, serves as a vital ecological corridor connecting the city and Taihu Lake. In 2022, the Liangxi River Belt Renovation and Upgrade Project was listed among Wuxi’s Top Ten Practical Projects for People’s Livelihood. It also acts as the No.1 Project of the city’s "Beautiful Rivers and Lakes" initiative.
As a comprehensive smart urban lighting solution provider based in Wuxi, Sanxing Lighting played a key role in the Liangxi Ten‑Mile Gallery Lighting Project.Working closely with relevant partners, we deeply understood the needs of urban development and construction.From the perspectives of ecological space and urban functionality, we highlighted the concepts of smartness, humanity and green development. We helped create a riverside slow‑traffic system, intelligent under‑bridge spaces, and a sponge‑based green landscape belt.By upgrading details and quality, we enhanced the image of the Liangxi River landscape belt, improved the urban environment, and built an urban smart green corridor that benefits local residents.
The riverside corridor features three distinct functional lanes for walking, jogging and cycling, catering to residents’ diverse travel needs at different speeds and in various ways. It supports green urban mobility and the development of spiritual civilization, enhances the city’s livable environment, and enriches residents’ leisure life.
Sanxing Lighting’s Smart Courtyard Lamps & Smart Poles adopt a modern, minimalist design concept with a stylish and elegant appearance.Featuring modular smart functions, they enable flexible control of device terminals and meet customers’ personalized requirements.
Equipped with smart projection, the system extends from the pole at night to display landscape images or themed logos. Paired with blue ambient lighting, it creates a stylish and dynamic night scene.During the daytime, the projector automatically retracts into the pole, preserving its sleek, streamlined aesthetic.
The integrated smart monitoring system provides real-time surveillance of scenic areas, ensuring residents’ safety, reducing manual patrols, improving operational efficiency, and lowering operating costs.
The wireless broadcasting system enables the playback of music, news, and city promotion content in scenic areas, enriching residents’ travel experience and enhancing the overall quality of the scenic zone.
In the era of internet and social media, network connectivity has become indispensable.With intelligent wireless WiFi, visitors can easily rest, search for store information, book rides, check routes, reserve hotels or tickets, and share photos online.This drives the economic vitality of surrounding areas, increases scenic spot exposure, and elevates the city’s image and status.
Making full use of urban space to create immersive smart leisure venues is another key focus pursued by Sanxing Lighting and its partners. In the under-bridge "grey spaces" of municipal bridges, we have adopted diverse functional and thematic designs to shape distinctive and diversified public spaces. These vibrant and dynamic venues offer residents a rich and colorful experience.
Making full use of landscape elements and facilities such as vibrant stages, fitness equipment, artistic benches and bright murals, together with the projection and ambient lighting of smart poles, we have created a space of intertwined light and shadow.It has become an under-bridge art garden full of youthful vitality and technological interaction, suitable for residents of all ages to relax and exercise.
The smart poles are equipped with LED light sources. Compared with traditional sodium lamps, LEDs feature low carbon emissions, low energy consumption, long service life and low maintenance costs. Mature optical and thermal design maximizes light source utilization and ensures long-term luminous stability.This not only supports low-carbon emission reduction and extends service life, but also reduces labor and replacement costs. Meanwhile, the smart lighting system can be programmed with different brightness levels at different times, meeting lighting demands while achieving energy conservation and emission reduction.
Low-carbon and smart lighting injects the concept of sustainable development into the upgrading project of the Liangxi River Landscape Belt. It helps advance the construction of sponge cities and smart cities, and supports the achievement of China’s national "Dual Carbon" strategic goals.
